Tupac Amaru Shakur was gunned mercilessly in 1996 whilst riding with his partner and boss of Death Row Records, Suge Knight. Although the Me Against The World rapper died at a tender age of 25, he gained a legendary status for his unique rap style and ingenuity. The world came to a standstill and as many disciples of rap music could not come to terms with his death.
Those who murdered the rap icon have not been arrested and the motive behind the killing is still unknown. This set the tone for conspiracy theories, debates and finger pointing, some even suggesting Suge Knight knows something his death.
After 21 years, Suge Knight has finally come out to make a shocking revelation about Tupac’s death. The official report of Pac’s death as captured in an official signed affidavit states that the label CEO has ‘known for many years that Reggie Wright Jr. and his ex-wife Sharita were behind the murder of Tupac and attempted murder of Knight.’ Wright Jr., the then-head of security for Death Row, had previously linked to Pac’s death by a former LAPD detective Russell Poole, along with Knight’s ex-wife. However Knight was the intended target of the shooting, as Poole believes the two conspired to murder him to gain control of Death Row Records.
Suge Knight believes this is truth behind his partner’s death and nothing else. We hope Suge Knight is saying the truth this time around because he has given inconsistent testimonies about this saga in the past. He even ridiculously said Tupac faked his own death, a theory that many of his fans are clutching on to be true so they see their idol again.
