Popular Tanzanian Bongo Flava recording artiste and songwriter, Mwasiti comes through with a brand new melodious sing labeled; “Karibu Gengeni”.
The just released track happens to be her first release in the year (2021). Karibu Gengeni was produced, mixed and mastered by dynamic Tanzanian beat-maker, Bantu Music.
Mwasiti, real name Mwasiti Almasi Yusuph represneted Tanzanian in Addis Ababa at the African Development Forum organized by UNICEF in 2006.
Mwasiti aka Black Butter is well known for her song, “Nalivua Pendo,” which was number one on Tanzania radio charts for eight consecutive weeks. The song again won “Best Zouk Song” at Tanzania Music Awards in 2009.
