Popular Tanzanian female vocalist and songwriter, Mwasiti is here brand new single labeled; “Kilometa Ziro’ produced by Frankin.
The record was lifted off her just released body of work captioned; “The Black Butterfly”. The extended play is a combination of different sounds in 5 different songs which also features 4 different artists.
‘The Black Butterfly’ happens to be her debut extended play, it adds up to her belt with the previous 2 albums ‘Nambie’ and ‘Complete Woman’.
Mwasiti, real name Mwasiti Almasi Yusuph was part of the African Development Forum representing Tanzania in Addis Ababa organized by UNICEF in 2006.
Mwasiti aka Black Butter is well known for her song, “Nalivua Pendo,” which was number one on Tanzania radio charts for eight consecutive weeks. The song again won “Best Zouk Song” at Tanzania Music Awards in 2009.
