Former Nigerian presidential aide, Reno Omokri has revealed why his beard is white.
According to him, his white beard is natural adding that he got it as a result of the stress he had to endure during his time as a presidential spokesperson.
He made this known in a recent submission on social media where he advised people to stop saying he dyed his beard.
His post reads;
“I am really getting fed up with people accusing me of vanity for dying my beards. I do NOT dye my beards. They are NATURALLY WHITE. My beards got prematurely white due to the extreme stress I underwent as a Presidential spokesman between 2011-2015. I read of my sack 5 times in different papers (I was never sacked). My relatives read on saharareporters that I bought a ₦1 billion mansion in Asokoro and were accusing me of not assisting them commensurate to my wealth. Premium Times accused me of colluding with Stella Oduah in her car scandal (I have never met President spoken to Senator Stella Oduah). Another media accused me of masterminding Barth Nnaji’s sack. The APC officially called for my arrest for overzealous support for President Jonathan. Plus others I can’t even mention here. It does not even make sense. People did their white beard black to look younger and handsomer. I do not know of anybody foolish enough to dye a black beard white. Go to any beauty store and see if you will find white dye. I doubt it. There is no market for such a product. I do not dye this beard mbok!”
