Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuame Eugene has come under the spotlight in recent times for his knack for “stealing” other people’s songs and passing them as his own.

The Angela star was in the news last year for sampling a song from a Malian musician called Sadiki Diabate for his tending “Confusion” song.

He went further by copying Ice Prince’s song for his “Wish Me Well” which got him some tonnes of backlash on social media.

To this end, Kofi Kinaata told Connect FM in an interview that if it’s true that his colleague is in the habit of dubbing people’s song, then he should stop it because that’s not “smart.”

Here’s what he said;

“Sometimes it is just by coincidence, you know, likely they say, great minds think alike. So it is possible to say things similar to what others have said in the past without knowing. If the same incidence happens twice consecutively, it’s got to be intentional.”

“If we do not know the song, it is hiding in an obscure corner, and it has to take some people to hunt for the original composers, then that is a clear insult to our intelligence and an attempt to look sharp,” he advised.
