Uptown energy boss, Yaa Pono has trashed claims that he’s championing the smoking of marijuana through his music.
He explained that people might see him as ganja ambassador but he mostly do such songs for the street and the song is being titled Highgrade so that people will play it in the ghetto.

Speaking in an interview on GBC Radio Central, he disclosed that most of the songs he does for the youth about wee are motivational purpose.
He stated that those songs has motivational words that’s why they love it and not because of the marijuana.

He however said he says if he get he will smoke but didn’t tell anyone to go and smoke.
Yaa Pono added that he doing such song for the youth every year may give people perception that he’s a ganja ambassador but people who associate his brand to be such crusader.
