Popular Nigerian songstress Simi has revealed in a recent interview that she first met her lovely husband, Adekunle Gold on popular social media site, Facebook.
Simi in her interview disclosed that her husband first gave her a personal message but she never bothered to respond. She stated that at that time she was doing only gospel music and wasn’t a star.
“He was chasing me all over on Facebook and everything. When I doing gospel music, he used to listen to my songs. You know he knew my songs and so he reached out to me on Facebook. I didn’t know him at the time. I didn’t respond either,” she said.
The ‘JOROMI’ hit maker, however, noted that they first met in person at a concert, and then she knew he was a graphic designer and not a musician. Their relationship later evolved from friendship to romantic partners.
Simi and Adekunle got married early this year in a private wedding reportedly attended by 300 guests.
