Award-winning Ghanaian Highlife musician, Martin King Arthur, well known as Kofi Kinaata has revealed the inspiration behind his music career, saying the genesis was his career was enlightened by his mother.

According to the singer, he was very good at singing when he was a kid as well as very good when it comes to playing football, hence it was his mother’s wish for him to become either a musician or a footballer.

Speaking in an interview with Joy Entertainment, the “Confession” hitmaker stated that at the age of 6 or 7, his mother told him to either focus on becoming a musician or a footballer.

“I am very happy because my mom told me at the age of six or seven, she told me she wanted me to sing or play football because I was a very good footballer and I’m singing now,” he said.

As a reminder, Kofi Kinaata has been recognized as one of the most prolific singers when it comes to modern Highlife music. He is well noted for his Fante rap and freestyle, hence the title, the “Fante rap God”.

In other news, one of the most prolific Nigerian entertainers, David Adeleke, well known as Davido has unveiled his motto for 2022, saying his aim is only to make money and ignore the tantrums of his critics on social media.

Davido recently proved that this year will be about making more money and buying as many properties as he can after he acquired his first asset for the year at Banana Island as he purchased a new mansion.

He has carved his own path despite coming from a very wealthy family and earned his place in the hearts of music lovers over the world with his tremendous talent and hit songs. He also happens to be one of the richest musicians in Africa.
