Ghanaian musician Kobla Jnr has revealed his streaming numbers have quadrupled ever since he the Black Avenue Muzik record label.

Recall the young singer together with other up-and-coming musicians got signed to Ghanaian musician and business mogul Desmond Blackmore popularly known as D-Black’s Black Avenue Muzik record label couple of years ago.

The Afrobeats singer in an exclusive interview with renowned disc jockey and rapper Andy Dosty on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show aired on Hitz FM stated it was really a privilege when he got signed onto the record label.

Speaking on why he left the record label just after a year after signing 5 years contract with D-Black, he revealed he felt the record label wasn’t doing enough in promoting his talent and work hence felt the need to leave with about 4 years left on his contract.

He stated that there were too many artists signed to the label at that time as each and every artist was fighting to get a spot to project his talent to the world. He added the schedule was so tight that most of them felt they were not given the much attention they deserved.

Kobla Jnr revealed that ever since he left the record label to go independent, his streaming numbers have quadrupled and he feels he’s doing go for himself.
