Mzbel and Stacy clashed few years ago over religious differences on the latter’s popular show Restoration. In a post celebrating the third anniversary of her TV, Stacy indicated that she had forgiven Mzbel over the fracas.
Her post read :
“Dear Lord, there are so many things I want to tell you. When this vision started, most people thought it was another tv show , but I always say NO, This is a ministry for God. Elohim, Restoration has come with its own challenges, pain, tears, betrayal even from some people who I used the platform to promote but they turned around to paint me black.
Through it all, you said BE STILL. You told me how I felt was exactly how you feel anytime we let you down. This experience moulded me to be a better person and very careful of my relationship with you. I was hurt, I was broken and as much as I said it was okay, I wasn’t okay.
For the first time in 3 years, I am talking about this because I have finally gotten over it. I never spoke I didn’t want to say things I couldn’t take back.Mzbel I forgive you”.
But Mzbel is not having any of that. She angrily shot back and demanded apology from her because in her own words, Stacy ‘used the public against her.’
Mzbel wrote:
“Stacy! It seems you’ve been hunted for long by the lies you told after my interview on your show for hype and public sympathy. Don’t you think it’s rather time to render an apology to me directly for the false comments and intention of you and your husband?
Funny enough I had forgotten about this issue because I’ve seen a lot of your kind, I mean hypocrites in this industry so when a friend sent me a snapshot of your post with my name in it, I just laughed and wondered if Christianity is about screaming ‘I forgive you’ on Instagram…
Your shame didn’t allow you to call me directly isn’t it? Anyways, happy Restoration Anniversary and apology accepted. Keep in mind that if Jesus has not returned after 2,000 years and counting, then 3 years of hypocrisy is no time to face the consequences of your lies, time will tell!”.
