Professor Ransford Gyampo has argued that Naana Opoku Agyemang has a lot to add to the John Dramani Mahama’s ticket contrary to the chorus members of the NPP are singing.

“The point is th is, you cannot completely write her off and that she is not adding anything to the ticket and all that. I mean that those who are doing that should take an excursi on to the academic board of the various public universities, and see how debates and arguments are made in support or against certain positions, and see how Vice-Chancellors try to contain some of these things; it is not easy”, the Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana said on radion in an interview.
“To run an academic institution made up of lecturers, Associate Professors, full Professors emeritus professors, it is not something that is easy at all. So if somebody is able to go through that, will rise to that top position, even the University of Cape Coast used to be called the University of Constant Confusion”, he enumerated further.
During her tenure, I think there was some calm in the turbulence and all that. I think that she brings to the ticket a certain Managerial competence and there also in my view level of decency”, Professor Gyampo added.
