Somewhere in May, 2018, the Ghana Football Association of Ghana (GFA), then headed by the ousted Kwesi Nyantakyi signed a mouthwatering deal with Zylofon Media to make the giant media conglomerate the headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League.

According to the Ghana FA, the deal was worth $10 million over a five year period. Nana Appiah Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon described his company’s decision to sponsor the Ghana Premier League as a “patriotic and mutually beneficial journey” which will contribute immensely to the development of not just the league, but also to football in the country.

However, just few months ago, it was discovered that the contract to that mega deal was missing, on the back of the infamous Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ expose dubbed, Number 12.

Nobody seems to know how the contract varnished mysteriously, with varied interpretations offered by observers on mainstream and social media.

In a bizarre twist, we got to know Nana Appiah Mensah actually run away with the original copy of the contract in the guise of making few corrections.

This was revealed by popular sports journalist, SaD1ck Adams, aka Sports Obama which was sighted by Ghgossip.com.

He posted;

Why the GFA/Zylofone $10million Sponsorship is missing
From an official position, the GFA Gen Secretary Isaac Addo told the Normalization C’ttee that, after both parties signed the original document in public, NAM1 demanded he be given the contract to correct a few areas and sign again.
The document was never returned.

If this turns out to be true, then we can confidently state NAM 1 is a genuis- the reason is very obvious!
