In a new twist to the never ending NAM1 story, the CEO of OXY FM, Alfred Kwame Larbi has alleged that contrary to the belief that the embattled Menzgold boss is probably languishing behind bars here in Ghana, he’s cooling off and enjoying some fresh air at his East Legon abode.

Explaining himself, Mr Larbi said on Accra-based Rainbow Radio that influential people are not confined within their custody but allowed to go home just like Nana Appiah Mensah, affectionately called NAM1.

Nana Appiah Mensah was arraigned before court on Friday where he was charged with two counts of abetment to defraud by false pretense and two counts of abetment to carry out banking business without licence, contrary to Section 6 (1) of the Banks and Specialised Deposit-taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).
