Respected award-winning Ghanaian background vocalist, Nana Ama announces her presence in the month of September with a 4 minutes 54 seconds audio labeled; “African Boogie (Di Asa)”.

The new record happens to be her first official project of the year (2021). The silky-voiced singer connects with prolific Ghanaian rapper and Strong Empire boss, Strongman to unearth this masterpiece.

‘African Boogie (Di Asa)’ owes production credit to famous Ghanaian record producer and sound engineer, Roro and Obofour Raphael as the co-producer. The song has a mixture of typical Ghanaian Highlife and Afrobeats from Nigeria combined with rap. ‘African Boogie’ talks about appreciating life by dancing your heart out.

Real name Nana Ama Dadzie, she has worked with record producers like Zapp Mallet, Morris Babyface, Jay Q, Sami Helwani, Sarge, Hammer, Kaywa, and all the renowned sound engineers and record producers in the country.

She is known for her silky choruses and performances on songs like Okomfour Kwaadee’s Abro Ne Bayie , Lord Kenya’s Medo which earned four awards including the enviable ”Song Of The Year” award at the Ghana Music Awards in 2002 , same with Buk Bak’s Klu Blofo song which earned them the same category in 2003.
