Funke Akindele’s current situation is not the right one as she is bound to face a jail term and risks losing all she has worked for as an actress and an entertainer.
Things have taken a new twist as brands have stripped her off ambassadorial deals. The latest of them is NCDC, who have deleted Funke’s coronavirus prevention video which was used to educate the masses on preventing coronavirus and reporting infections, among others to flatten the curve on spread of the virus.

Funke’s failure to practise what she preaches delivered her into the hands of social media who called on the NCDC to strip her off her deals and take down the video. Nigerian twitter users have commended the NCDC for their swift response on stripping her off her deals and deleting her video as well.
