National Democratic Congress NDC Cape Coast North Parliamentary Aspirant, Kwamena Minta Nyarko voter’s card has been withdrawn by the Electoral Commission EC.
According to reports, he said to have provided false information to the EC when he applied for the voter’s card.
Per Ghana law, a non registered voter can not vie election which means the withdrawal affects his candidature as a parliamentary Aspirant.
The aspirant provided his house address and pointed out a building w here he stays but was not able to substantiate when he was challenged before a committee.
He was found guilty after the challenge and the committee visited the house he pointed.
He is said to pay 500 penalty unit and default got to prison for two years.
According to Minta Nyarko in a WhatsApp group of his supporters, he claimed to have two facilities in that Constituency so they cannot disqualify him
