Nigerian music producer and sound engineer, Oluwaseyi Akerele, better known as Shizzi has taken to social media and bitterly lamented over the menace of police brutality in the country.
Shizzi shared his encounter with the Nigerian police force and is not happy with the way the police force is perpetually causing pain on civilians.
According to him, saying that the country has become stressful for the citizens is an understatement as he revealed he has encountered police brutality for the second time.

He wrote:
Nigeria is stressful na understatement !!”
“After what I faced today with the Naija police two times in a row! I give up! F**kd up place !”
Police brutality has become an issue being discussed at various levels across from the corporate to the streets as well as governmental level.
The past encounter with brutality by the police against civilians ended in the loss of human lives and destruction of properties as well as many left deformed as on October 20, some armed military officers opened fire on unarmed civilians who stormed the Lekki toll gate to protest against police brutality and the campaign for the disbandment of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS.

Almost every Nigerian celebrity was involved in the campaign on the ground and online and some include, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tach, Nengi, Laycon, Rudeboy, Peter Okoye, Toyin Abraham among others.
