A soccer player in Ogun State identified as Damilola, collapsed and died during a football match in the Ido area of the state on Monday, September 7.

According to IgbereTV reports,the late footballer who plays for premier football club Ofatedo was about to pass a free kick to his team-mate when he collapsed. According to eyewitnesses, he was rushed to a hospital close by but had to be transferred to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology where he was pronounced dead. he had never shown any sign of illness according to his team mates.
