US-based South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha has announced that she and other A-listers will be hosting a reunion concert that focuses on vaccine equity.
The actress together with Global Citizen, and other big names, they will be hosting a vax live concert.
Nomzamo also entreated big businesses and government to donate money towards acquiring COVID-19 vaccinations. In addition she also called upon pharmaceutical companies to produce vaccinations with the aim of saving lives and not with the aim of gaining profits.

I’m calling on BUSINESS to donate FUNDS for the acquisition of doses, G7 GOVERNMENTS to share EXCESS doses and for PHARMA companies to make vaccines available at NOT FOR PROFIT prices! Chairing the campaign is the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan. One of the guest performers is the iconic Jennifer Lopez.
Meanwhile, the star has also shown that behind her glowing beauty lies her generous heart after collaborating with a local company to donate desktop computers to a school in KZN.
Nomzamo is doing her best to make sure education becomes more easier for the young generation in the KwaZulu-Natal province.
The global actress has donated 20 desktop computers to a rural high school in KwaZulu-Natal and is beaming with pride because she could make it possible.
Taking to her Twitter account she wrote:
“Two months ago a teacher sent me a message asking for 10 laptops for her students who study CAT in one of the most remote villages in Kwa-Zulu Natal.”
“Today my team back in South Africa drove for hours and delivered 20 desktops.
I’m so happy I could cry.”
