A serial rapist in Eastern Cape has been given 7 life sentenced. On Friday, The Bisho High Court sentenced a 44-year-old, Malibongwe Ncokolo 300 years imprisonment who was arrested in June 2017.

The court found Ncokolo had consistently raped young girls and women since 2014 until his arrest in 2017. Twelve of the 22 survivors are underaged between 9 and 15.
He was arrested after attempting to rape a 14-year-old girl in June this year but the girl was able to kick Ncokolo with both feet in the chest and managed to escape shouting for help.

Ncokolo took to his heals, but members of the community apprehended him a day later at his home, where he got arrested by the police.
