The Ministry of Information Ghana has published and released a press statement announcing the arrival of the first consignment of Covid-19 vaccines in the country.
The Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Ghana on Wednesday 14th February, 2021.
Below is the press statement published by the Ministry of Information.
The taking of the Covid-19 vaccine has created a huge divisive thought among Ghanaians.
One sect is of the school that the vaccine is not safe and hence will not take it into their body.
The other sect also is of the thought that the vaccine is safe and will help protect them from getting infected by the virus.
However, it still remains a fact that, larger percentage of Ghanaians, do not trust the vaccine and are hesitant to take the drug.
