Susuka was one of the biggest hits of 2016 and it was no wonder it scooped some awards at the VGMA. The song ultimately catapulted Kofi Kinaata to great stardom and he still revels in it.

In an intriguing development, the Fante rapper disclosed that initially Obrafuor was supposed to have featured on that song but interestingly the veteran rapper declined to jump on the it.

In an interview with Accra FM, the rapper shed more light on this thus:

“I wanted Obrafour to sing on Susuka. I sent him the song but Obrafour returned the song saying I had done everything to perfection on the song and he had nothing more to add. I had done the singing and I wanted him to rap on it. My manager advised me to release the song after it was done but I wanted a heavyweight to sing on it…but I’m glad it worked out. I thought he [Obrafour] didn’t want to feature on my song but it was rather a blessing and the song today is a hit.”
