Nigerian descent-British based boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has been heavily ridiculed on social media for missing out on the #EndSARS protest in the UK and claims he is praying for Nigeria.

The unification champion made a tweet appreciating the #EndSARS protestors and everyone who has helped to keep the movement alive.
His comment “Praying for Nigeria” did not sink in with his compatriots as some took to the comment section to condemn him for failing to avail himself at the forecourt of the Nigerian High Commission where Wizkid, BBNaija star Mike, SlimCase, Seyi Shay among other Nigerians in the UK met to protest.
