It’s very obvious that musicians and smoking are inseparable. Ghanaian musicians have been vocal lately, unanimously calling for the legalization of marijuana so they can boldly enjoy the substance without violating any law.
Whilst some have spearheaded the advocacy through their music, rapper Yaa Pono decided to use a more ‘direct’ approach.
During an electric performance at University of Ghana for the Jubilish Hall Week Artiste Night, the Tema-based artiste paused midway to advise students who were suffering from poor memory retention to resort to smoking.
“I have an advice for you. If you learn and are not able to grasp, smoke.”
