This comes after Nigerian musicians, Burna Boy and Wizkid managed to make their country proud by winning Grammy awards yesterday. Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album while Wizkid’s collaboration with Beyonce won Best Music Video.

Well, Ghanaians reacted as they descend on Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for their inability to even get nomination in the Grammy award scheme.

However, others believe that with the bold steps these musicians have already taken by featuring some of the topmost international musicians with some also winning BET awards. There is still a chance that these artistes might also win some Grammys someday.

According to Kelvyn Boy, the country cannot be represented by a Reggae/Dancehall musician should any be nominated for Grammys.

This sounds like a shade to Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Samini since they are the frontrunners in Ghanaian dancehall and also the ones who might probably get the chance to win Grammys for Ghana someday.
