Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor has injected her trademark comic serum into the political landscape by insisting that she’s ready to dish out free cars to journalists and teachers if Ghanaians vote her into power in the forthcoming elections.

Madam Akua Donkor who has won admirers for the ‘unserious’ way she goes about with her politics, also reminded Ghanaians that the Ghana police will enjoy her car giveaway, except that they will have to pay in installment.
On why she’s coming up with this huge promise when it seems impossible, Akua justified her stance by saying, ‘This country will collapse should journalists decide not to do their work in just two days; so journalists are very important and that is why I have promised to give each of them a car when I become the president; I will also give cars to teachers but if I give cars to the policemen, they would have to pay for them on installments, but that of the journalists and teachers would be for free because their work is very difficult and essential.’
