Yaw Osafo Maafo has been appointed as the senior advisor to the President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo.

This was revealed during his address to the Brim Central Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 13 April 2021.
Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo served as the Finance Minister in 2001 and the Minister of Education in 2007 under the administration of Former President, John Agyekum Kufour.
He also served as the Member of Parliament for Akyim Oda for three terms from 1997 to 2009.
He served as Senior Minister in President Akufo-first Addo’s term, but before the president reconstituted his cabinet for his second term, he reportedly told him of his decision to retire and remain in the background.
Yaw Osafo Maafo has contributed greatly to the growth of Ghana politics for many years. As Senior Minister, he played a key role in putting the government’s Ghana Beyond Aid agenda into action.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian Record Producer, King Of Accra has said that poverty is the main reason behind many indulging in many unnecessary things to get rich.
He said that most people are involved in fraudulent activities eager to be filthy rich just to impress society.
He quizzed if one is able to get all the assets they crave by doing the unnecessary to get rich, what will be the next thing for them.
He wrote; Poverty is what makes people do anything for money. But sometimes people in competition will also make people do unnecessary things like going to engage in bloody rituals so that everyone will see you as richer…..ok you are now rich, now whats next ??
