Lydia Forson stated that fixing the country means the people will be able to hold the authorities and the leadership responsible with the kind of actions or decisions they take in respect to their various positions as public service servants.

She saying if the right measures are put in place and the system is working, politicians, leadership and the entire citizenry will not necessarily be required to do the right thing but rather, everyone will do the right thing to avoid being punished.

But since the politicians and the leaders in the country are benefiting from the current ‘broken’ system and the struggle of the people, they have turned a ‘blind eye’ on why there is a need to fix the system and the country as whole.

Fixing the country means that you will be able to hold people accountable for their actions. If systems works, you don’t need to convince people to do better, they will be required to,to avoid punishment. But our leaders benefit from the way things are.

Ms Lydia Forson has been one of the few Ghanaian celebrities who has been criticizing any government’s policies and actions if she thinks its not in favor of the people of Ghana.

She has dedicated her social media platforms as a ‘mouthpiece’ of the people fighting for the better improvement of lives for the good people of Ghana.
