The Emir of Anka in Zamfara State, Attahiru Ahmad has indicated that more than 100 miners have been abducted.
According to the monarch, these miners were operating between Anka and Maru LGAs in the State and the incident reportedly occurred on March 2.
Making this known, he indicated that the incident took place when the state government focused on the rescue of the 279 students abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe.
He made this submission when the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) led service chiefs on an assessment visit to the state.
