The good news to supporters affiliated with Reverend Owusu Bempah is that he’s now a free man temporarily after managed to meet the condition for his bail.

And over the weekend during his first church activity since he was granted bail, the Pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) pastor used the moment to thank a lot of influential people in the governing NPP who showed solidarity when he was in confinement.

However, he managed to drop jaws by mentioning the name John Dramani Mahama- the leader of the biggest opposition party as one of the people who showed great concern and showed him immense love while in custody.

A deafening noise full of applause seized the auditorium and we guess you know why. Watch the moment below;

In the same vein, the Director-General of State Interests and Governance Authority, Stephen Asamoah Boateng (Asa B) has disclosed that Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah spent time with 70 other inmates during his incarceration.

He made this new revelation in a recent interview on Angel FM. He’s quoted as saying;

“He is with about 70 inmates at the Cantonments police cells, yes I said 70, even though it’s strange because I doubt Cantonment cell is that spacious, so with this number, I think they’re congested,” he stated.

Owusu Bempah was arrested on Sunday, September 12, together with three other members of his church. On Monday, he was charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, the threat of death, and assault of office public officers.

He has however been granted bail to the tune of GHS200,000 with two sureties by an Accra High court.
