Parliament will later commence the third meeting of the fourth session after more than a month on recess.
The House rose on August 14, 2020, after an eventful session that saw amongst other things the approval of the controversial Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal.
The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu in a Citi News interview and monitored by ghgossip.com said the meeting which will last for five weeks will see a presentation of the 2021 budget.
“We’re meeting for five weeks beginning 6th October to 6th November comprising 20 sittings. The highlight for this third meeting is usually for the accounts. We will do a mini-budget for the first three months; i.e. January to March,” he said.
It will be recalled that the Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye recalled Parliament to commence the third meeting of its fourth session last month through a notice
