Ghana’s Communications Minister, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has debunked reports that she labelled critics of the Akufo-Addo government as witches.
Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful emphatically stated that she never called anyone names for complaining about the hardship in the country.
When Ursula Owusu was asked on JOY FM’s Super Morning Show whether she’s arrogant like many people have labelled her, she said,
“ Every woman I know in leadership in this country, has been called arrogant and prostitute why? And always say we don’t deserve the position. Why do we insult our women like that?
She continued
” We have a weird definition for arrogance in this country and mostly they use it for women. People are quick to tag assertive women as arrogant. I’m not full of myself at all. I think people call me like that just for Political Mischief”
