These perceptions about male entertainment will be very difficult to eradicate. Because of the nature of their job and the kind of people they associate themselves with. No matter how decent you are, the perception of chasing after girls will always be maintained. It comes with the job as an entertainer.

Speaking in an interview with GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar on the Talkertainment show, Kofi Jamar stated that people don’t trust especially with the kind of work they do as musicians.

“Girls don’t trust you when you do this kind of work. There are rumours that all musicians are womanizers so they don’t trust us and it’s sad,” he said.

He also recounted how he had problems with all his past relationships because they had the perception that he was flirting with all the females he was working with.

“Trust in itself is a big word for me currently because it is the foundation of every relationship. All the fights I’ve had in the past with my partners were as a result of the loss of trust,” he added.
