Pep Guardiola Donates €1 Million To Combat Coronavirus In Spain

Pep Guardiola, manager of premier league side, Manchester City has donated €1 million to fight the deadly coronavirus in Spain which is on the brink of losing it citizens to the virus.

The virus is still spreading fast in Spain and showing little signs of peaking. The disease has reached almost every part of the country. With a record number of 42,058 confirmed cases and 2,991 deaths, the country may succumb to the virus sooner or later like Italy.

Pep Guardiola, whose residence in Barcelona is brewing with the virus is hoping to use the money to help acquire health materials such as test kits, facemasks, protective clothes, food, water, beds and other essentials to help victims, doctors and nurses to fight the deadly virus.

Football greats such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have also donated some huge amount of money to help fight covid-19 for their countries respectively.
