When Ghanaians voted overwhelmingly for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the last general election, it was the hope that they would remedy all the ills of the previous government and set the country on the path of ‘recovery’ which would ultimately favour the ordinary Ghanaian.

However, without any iota of political biasness, one could tell that things have rather plummeted as the economy gets worst on daily bases.

It’s against this background that Member of Parliament for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak decided to send the loudest signal to the government on the plight of Ghanaians.

The MP first ‘threatened’ on his Facebook platform that wall he’ll start riding bicycle to parliament to tell Akufo Addo and his government about the unfair fuel prices increment in recent times.

The lawmaker wrote;

Doing A 17km Bicycle Ride To Parliament From Tomorrow As A Way Of Highlighting The Increasing Cost Of Fuel And Harsh Economy Under The NPP Gov’t. Life Is Tough For Ordinary Ghanaians.

True to his words, the MP shared a photo of himself wearing a helmet and a bicycle parked right behind him to prove his seriousness in this personal campaign he wants to embark.
