One of the main problems most African and world leaders are desperately combating to eradicate is the rise in teenage pregnancies. Teenage Pregnancy has been a global issue that affects high-, middle-, and low-income countries alike.
Teenage pregnancies are more common in marginalized populations around the world, owing to poverty, a lack of education, and a lack of economic possibilities.
Well, sources disclosed that the heavily pregnant 10-year-old girl is South African, specifically Soweto, and is said to be in the last trimester of her pregnancy and could be ushered into the labour ward soon.
The viral photo has since sparked mixed reactions on social media as many ponder on why the young girl would choose premature motherhood over her education.
