Ghana Water Company Limited hits the Ghanaian market with bottled water, something which is in contrast to their mandate to provide potable water to domestic households in Ghana.
The company has neglected its duties of providing potable water to homes and are now preparing to introduce their own bottled water to create much revenue.
The product is already in the market but hasn’t gained much popularity since it is very new. Product name is G-Water.
Popular musician, Wanluv the Kubolor posted a photo of the bottled water on Twitter with the caption, “Ghana Water Company was set up to provide potable tap water to Ghanaians. They are now selling bottled water to us. Have they given up on their mission? What incentive do they now have to fulfill their original mandate if they are now profiting from not delivering?”
