The man of the match, a player spotting the number 9 jersey was seen receiving his man of the match award, thus the fowl, from the match commissioner.
The said incident was reported to have happened in Malawi.
This is just one of many hilarious ‘man of the match’ awards as some players were once reported to have taken home slippers as the man of the match award in another African country.
