There is no single day Ghanaian pastors won’t be in the news for the controversial reasons. We can’t say the same thing for pastors of other countries, as we say what we have a full understanding of.
For some days now, it has been alleged that popular Kumasi based pastor, Osofo Kyiri Abosom has been sick and he is now cripple. This followed a social media viral video made by one gentleman claiming he sent his daughter to Osofo Kyiri Abosom for deliverance and that his daughter’s powers ‘overpowered’ the powers of Osofo Kyiri Abosom, making the pastor a cripple.
Due to this he gave his ‘piece’ of mind to journalists who reported the issue, calling them names to the point that he ‘cursed’ them that God would kill them to serve as a ‘lesson’ to others.
In a recent interview, he claimed no one is perfect in this world and if one can attain perfection, it is through the correction of mistakes. He refutes the claims made by the gentleman, and he said whatever the gentleman said is false.
“I have prayed to God that He should revoke everything I said and that he shouldn’t let it come to pass”, he said. He continued by saying “I plead with all Ghanaians, especially journalists, and I urge them to make the necessary investigations when issues such as these pop up…”
Osofo Kyiri Abosom stated categorically that he has never been crippled and he is sorry for his actions.
We think it is a bold step that the pastor has taken and that other pastors will emulate him.
