Afrobeat giant, Wizkid has reacted to the mishappenings in 2020, unmaginable and inhumane treatment meted out to fellow human beings because of hate, colour and isensitive ideologies.

Just when the world was restoring itself to other after taking a hit from the deadly coronavirus, it has taken a major downward turn with police brutality and clash with angry citizens.

For a long time, black Americans have been at the receiving end of police brutality in America, the latest of such incidence is the death of another black man (George Floyd) by the hand of a white police officer, Derek Chauvin.

As if that is not enough, Nigerian police have adopted same technique of brutalizing citizens by killing one of it own, a 16 year old girl who was reported to have been shot by a Lagos police officer.
These acts of brutalizing our own people has got afrobeat superstar, Wizkid sick hence his decision to question the authorities over such mishappenings in the country. He took to his twitter page and wrote;
“Police dey kill black Americans and Naija police dey kill Nigerians. No man fit sort this matter. God save us”
