Head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has tested negative for the deadly Coronavirus disease and this comes after he showed symptoms which are similar to that is shown by Coronavirus patients.
Due to this, he was forced to cancel a Lent retreat prompting the need for him to be tested for the virus himself.
Pope Francis took ill at a time when Italy is battling a surging outbreak of the potentially deadly Coronavirus.
Test conducted on him proved negative with the death toll in Italy jumped to 52 on Monday from 34 the day before and the total number of confirmed cases in Europe’s worst affected country climbed past the 2,000 mark.
