A pregnant woman identified as Josephine Panyin Mensah who was declared missing hours ago has apparently been kidnapped in a fresh development.

The woman reportedly went missing after going for a routine dawn walk on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Graphic Online reports that her husband, Paul Simon reported the incident to the police and later said the mother had received a phone call from a suspected kidnapper demanding a ransom.

Graphic further adds that the police in Takoradi have started investigations into the circumstances that led to the missing of the pregnant woman.

The Western Regional Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olivia Adiku has said the police were investigating to trace the whereabouts of Josephine.

In other news shared by www.Ghgossip.com, the lawyer for Oheneba Nkrabea, one of the rasta students who reportedly quit Achimota School and is currently enrolled at Ghana International School(GIS) in Accra has revealed the reason behind the new development.

According to reports, the young man was moved to his new school following Attorney General’s decision to appeal against the High Court’s ruling that went in their favour earlier this year. His lawyer Ras Wayoe Ghanamannti has described as unfortunate the Attorney General’s appeal against the High Court’s ruling in the Rasta kids case.

Speaking on GHOne TV Tuesday, he mentioned the emotional and psychological stress this protracted legal tussle is having on the kids.

“The psychological trauma, the instability, the emotional stress, and those ambits of it is what is worrying us because these are children, these are young guys, and they’ve started going to school so at the end of the day any such decision will traumatize them.
