The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has invited the National Chief Imam, Sheik Osman Nuhu Shaributu to be the next person to take the vaccine after him.

This morning, President Nana Addo, his wife, Rebecca Addo, the Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Samira Bawumia were the first Ghanaians to get injected with the COVID-19 vaccine at the 37 Military Hospital.
The President afterward invited the National Chief Imam, The Asantehene, and some other dignitaries in the country to be the next selected people to take the vaccine.
In reaction to that, the Chief Imam expressed his gratitude to the President for the invitation and his efforts in combating the deadly virus.
Sheik Osman Nuhu Shaributu is expected to honor the invitation of the President in order to encourage his followers to also partake in the exercise.
