The president-elect of the United State of America, Joe Biden has made history with the number of votes he got in this year’s US.
According to the CNN, he is the first presidential candidate to win the presidential election with more than 80 million votes.
Additionally, he is also the first presidential candidate to have more than 50% of the popular vote against an incumbent since Franklin Roosevelt woefully defeated Herbert Hoover in 1932.
On Tuesday, Biden’s votes stood at 80,011,000 votes while Trump’s votes stood at 73,800,000 with Biden’s vote translating into 306 electoral votes with Trump having 232.
His victory was legally recognized by the General Services Administration (GSA) on Monday, however, President Trump is yet to concede defeat.
