President Nana Akuffo-Addo has charged heads of driver’s union to ensure drivers of their various stations ensure proper social distancing by reducing the number of passenger intake.

The president’s new directive is a move to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. The president advised drivers of trotros and taxi’s to adhere to the new directive since the virus can easily be passed on from one passenger to another.

He charged the leaders of various driver’s unions in the country to make sure their drivers follow the safety measures put in place and follow all hygiene protocols or face full rigors of the law.
