Prophet Nigel Gaisie, who happens to be the leader of the True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries believes the respected clergyman lacks basic understanding of what electoral prophecy is all about so he has no right whatsoever to condemn men of God who make proclamation about who will win elections in Ghana.

This happened after Rev. Frimpong-Manso in an address on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 urged politicians and voters to ignore prophecies about electoral victories and instead work hard to win their elections.

He emphasized that these so-called prophets make this unguarded statements just to exploit the politicians. He therefore added th at all electoral prophecies are fake.

His comment comes after Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang was officially unveiled Rev. Frimpong-Manso to the leadership of the Christian Council of Ghana at the Assemblies of God headquarters in Accra. In his view, electoral prophecies which have come from some Ghanaian prophets concerning this year’s elections are clever schemes designed to manipulate the politicians.

Prophet Gaisie who is considered a Pro-NDC pastor, has tipped former President Mahama to win the elections while on the other side of the coin, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Rev. Owusu Bempah, and Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako have tipped President Akufo-Addo to retain his seat.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie however disagreed with Rev. Frimpong by saying prophets do not speak their own mind and that they speak the mind of God about events that are yet to happen. He further said if Rev. Frimpong truly understands the work of prophets, he wouldn’t be making such comments. He made this know to reporters of Daily Graphic.
