Former President, John Mahama has disclosed that the best way of governance is about infrastructural development not putting money in people’s Pocket.

He explained that if someone gives you money today it will finish tomorrow but if there’s a hospital or school built it will be there for generation, he claimed government is common sense and not rocket science.

He expressed this when he paid a courtesy call in yendi while addressing the king of Dangbon, Ya-Naa Abukari Mahama.

He however stated the possible of paying allowances to the various Assembly Members across the country but Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Hajia Alina Mahama believes it can’t be implemented.

According to John Mahama, the reduction on government’s ministers will be able to pay the local assembly.

He stated that the Nana Addo led government appointed many ministers but he intend to cut down the number and it’s possible to pay the hard working Assembly members.
