Last week, controversial Ghanaian rapper M3nsa incurred the wrath of SM fans when he publicly ridiculed the much hyped Reign album which was launched at the Fantasy Dome in Accra later in the day.
Expressing his opinion about the album, M3nsa said he was able to listen to only one song on the album completely; suggesting that he was not impressed with the quality of most of the musical works on the project.
This statement upset the followers of the SM fraternity and as you guessed right- M3nsa was roasted for his misguided comment.
In a new tweet ghgossip.com sighted on his social media platform, the former member of FOKN said he’s a true SM fan and therefore finds it ridiculous that sharing his ‘humble’ opinion would earn much condemnation like this.
According to him, he merely blurted out his opinion because as a fan, he expected more from Shatta Wale so he shouldn’t be perceived as an antagonist of the Shatta Movement.
Here’s what he wrote;
I’m a Shatta fan.
I downloaded his album 15mins after it was available on Spotify (paid for it)
I’m also a big fan of music.
I also MAKE music and behind MANY things today you tweeps have NO idea about.
I’m a Shatta Fan.
A fan who simply expected more.
