Investigative Journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has pare the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for fighting for the rights over the funeral and it arrangement of the party’s Founder Jerry John Rawlings, alleging the party members did not have good relationship with him when he was alive.
In a series of post that he shared on social media, Manasseh Azure claims Rawlings was more close to President Akufo-Addo than his own party NDC members in his final days on earth.

General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia in an interview with Citi TV, blamed President Akufo-Addo for trying to hijack the funeral of Rawlings from the NDC.
He stated that, the NDC party may arrange their own funeral for their founding father if opponent Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP), continues to interfere in Rawling’s funeral arangement.
