The Former President of the Republic of Ghana and the Founder of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Jerry John Rawlings has revealed that he never voted for his party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama in the 2016 General Elections.

Speaking with Kwaku Sakyi on Asaase Radio, the controversial politician revealed that he voted for his wife Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings in the 2016 polls instead of voting for his party, stating that his wife deserved to become the President of the country in that particular year.
